Gigmaven: MCee Rapbattle

     On August 7th, JAMBOX represented as the proud, official sponsor of the MC Rap Battles! The MC Rap Battles, similar to the Open Mic Showcase, was yet another opportunity for JAMBOX to feature artists and give away free stuff! One of JAMBOX's own clients, Brian Acosta (pictured below), freestyled his way to an impressive 2nd place win amidst other notable MC's. Following the event, JAMBOX awarded MC Rap Battles winner Crosby 3 hours of studio time FREE in our renowned Studio B "Blue Room," as well as a whole line-up of freebies and exclusive access awarded ONLY to the winner. For all other participants in the battle, JAMBOX is offering exclusive, discounted studio rates! The event was held at DROM (85 Avenue A) in Lower East Side, Manhattan and hosted by GigMaven. GigMaven is an online platform that matches artists with venues in order to increase the number and quality of live performances. It currently keeps a massive, growing database of over 2,300 musicians and 100 venues.
