PIX Channel 11 3rd Ave Street Fair - June 7, 2009

In what will be known as "A Fair To Remember", JAMBOX, Reach Out Inc, and TV PIX11 teamed together to put on a smokin hot show on Sun June 7th. The live energy was nonstop from 12pm right up to 5pm. The 3rd Avenue Street Fair on Sunday, June 7th had an overwhelming turnout of over 500,000 people and beautiful, New York City summer afternoon weather. Inspired by the fair's ability to bring together a diverse group of people, the music performances were fun and exciting.
Lori Michaels, founder of Reach Out Inc, joined her dance team, "Me and the Girls" and her Reach Out kid celebrity performing cast including "Amy Q, Will G," and several other talented rising young stars in a live performance at the annual 3rd Avenue Street Fair.  Presented by PIX11, the street fair performance also featured 4SIGHT/JAMBOX recording artist, Nicole Ortiz who performed her new single and a passionate cover of Beyonce's "Halo," country star Mark Evans, R&B performer George Curtis, and 15-year old singing sensation Sabrina Reitman. Lori Michaels has been participating in the street fair for 13 years and bringing not only a line-up of stellar performers, but shedding light on her ability to reach children through the power of music.
The highlight of the performance included a surprisingly energetic performance by Lori Michaels, who recently recovered from a foot injury, along with her dance team, and an interactive performance of "REACH OUT," written and produced by JAMBOX's Lee Evans.  Lori Michaels and Lee Evans were recently voted as NY's "Person of the Week" through NY1 news.
